THE IMPORTANCE OF LONG TERM PRAYERS

NEW
"THE IMPORTANCE OF LONG-TERM PRAYERS"
           Word Study: Ephesians 3:20 & James 5:16 b
There are a large number of Christians who feel that the payers of a person can not take the time to over an hour, and this kind of people most of them their requests do not exceed 30 minutes or 45 minutes. People with ideas like these are those who are lazy or have not read properly apply the Bible and do not know what the Bible say about the time of use in applications.

JESUS CHRIST was distracted grow Gethsemane His disciples watch with him in prayer Matthew 26:37-38. When he came to pray and found them asleep he asked "... how could ye not watch with me one hour?" Matt 26:40. This question does not mean that students   did not pray at all, it is possible to be applied but that Jesus is telling us is that their application grew less than one hour.

Now, if prayed, why would Jesus tell them to pray "even" for an hour? An issue is that he measured the strength of spiritual power derived from their prayers and found that it could not enable them defeat the enemy. That's why he said "... Watch and pray, lest ye enter into temptation." Matt 26:41. Means that the temptation that was before them could not be won without a long-term prayer that would give them full strength to win.
And because they did not pray that is why when the time to arrest Jesus arrived, all disciples ran, and even Peter who tried to follow him when the time reached, he denied Jesus.

Jesus' disciples fled from him, not because they were cowards, but because the question of  acknowledging JESUS and defending your faith in him to the people is something that needs supernatural spiritual courage. This confidence comes from spiritual strength which man obtains from the prayers he makes. Therefore the more you spend so much on prayers the more the power you get.

The lack of this power in many people has led to the failure to declare that they are born-again and some even fall completely and stop serving God. Something like this is what made the apostles ask God to give them courage, when they wanted to officially start the mission. Acts 4:29-31.
Because of these things and others like them is because there is a need to learn the importance of having a long-term prayer for Christian, and all those who want to prosper.

In the book of Ephesians 3:20 we read: "let him that can do incredible things than all we ask or imagine," as "the power that works within us."
     English Bible Now to him who records by the power at Work within us is able to do far more than all that we ask or think   {Ephesians 3:20 RSV}

These words of the apostle Paul reveals to us that there is something called a power that works within us. This power means of spiritual power and authority that a person acquires and that enable them to do spiritual things. So when you  see someone rebuking the demons and the demons surrender, know that that person is having something extra called spiritual power, which is what God uses to do great spirit things and miracles.
For it is a spiritual power, then it is quite clear that even acquiring it you must find out in the world of spirit.

In James 5:16 b "... the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous avails much." Here the Bible speaks of earnestness in prayer; we can compare this with where Jesus was telling his disciples to pray at least for an hour. This means he was insisting them to pray earnestly. Matthew 26:40

This zeal began to display in JESUS when he fasted and prayed for 40 days. Matthew 4:1-2, we see Jesus himself who was God, but he began his ministry with long-term prayers. The meaning is that Jesus clearly knew that the task before him was not victorious over without having enough power in it. But the Bible also frequently points JESUS going to pray. Luke 9:28, Luke 6: Luke 22:44

This zeal we find it again at the time when the church prayed for Peter when he was in prison,  Acts 12:5   says, "So Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church”
Now  let’s ask ourselves the question why the Bible tells us about praying hard, pray hard and elsewhere says pray without ceasing?.
What we have to know is that the operation of God upon your request or on a particular service performed depends upon the power that you give. Ephesians 3:20 "... by the power at Work within us is able ..."   These words show that the power at work within us is what enables God to do what you want.

Now the Bible says as Swahili,  means that the rate or amount. So the amount of power contained within the individual so to that degree that God will work miracles through him. Therefore, if the power of man is small, then God will not do work or God will answer but the answer will not bring total victory over the matter. That is why you can find one person is praying for the patient and do not recover but comes another and pray for the sick person and gets healed.

So if you pray hard, or energetic, or fervently means that it must be a long term prayer, or when you ask for without ceasing means to pray regularly when you will have already spent a long time. All this work is sure to be found strong enough to make God WORK for you.

Ask why God did not get Peter out of prison until the church had prayed, and why God had forsaken John the Baptist in prison until he was cut off the head? The reason is that to GOD do something in the world relies on the spiritual power of the people in the world to allow him to work  Eph 3:20. So Peter got up in prison because they found people who let power that enabled GOD to work for his breakthrough but John did not get people to help in this.

When the bible of Swahili says pray hard or hard, the English states that this prayer has great power in its consequences James 5:16 b "The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects"
This means that you pray hard that you have for a long time you release something that provides great strength in its results. So you ask a bit stronger so shall be the results.

So many people have grown complaining that their prayers are not answered by others to the point of saying that God is biased. But let me tell you one thing, God does not show favoritism;    Acts 10:34-35
The problem lies with the applicants themselves many of whom think that the issue of God answering prayer is something simple. But I tell you mediate and measure the greatness of the problem your praying for, and your time in praying then see if it really enough time to relinquish power to provoke God to bring complete victory.

GOD tests your problem or something you're asking, and the power you have relinquished through your prayers, if he sees that your power is not enough to bring a complete victory, then he gathers your power day by day until when it is enough to be used.

This is what happened to Daniel in Dan 10:1-4, 11-13. In verse 12 Daniel is shown that his prayers were heard from the first day's prayer and the angel was sent. Verse 13 shows that the angel was prevented by the general spirit of the Persians for 21 days. The second verse is evident that Daniel prayed three weeks {21 days}.
What we can discover here is that all the time that an angel had been stopped, Daniel continued to pray until the Angel was released.

            Now ask the following questions:
=> Does it mean that the head of the Persians was stronger than the angels?
=> Did God not see that his angel was stopped? And if he knew why did he send Michael after all those 21 days?
=> Why was Daniel still praying for all that time?

Its response is that, head of the Persians was not stronger than the angels, but that the spirit of the Persians had submerged that atmosphere and so for the angels to pass through that area depended on the existence of power in Daniel that God would use destroying the administration of the head of the Persians, and establish God's purpose. Here we learn that there are sometimes we complain that God has not answered our prayers, while in fact they have been restricted by the power of the devil and require more prayers and power to release them.

Second is that God knew that the angel was stopped, but the matter is that the role of releasing the power of angels to help him out there was not GOD’s task but Daniel had to pray for a long time to relinquish the power that God would use it to get the angel out of that demons  custody.
We learn here that it is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that he prays until he sees complete victory.

Thirdly is that Daniel was still praying for yet he had not seen the answers to his need. What we learn here is that do not turn to pray until you feel the Lord has opened the way to your need. Isaiah 62:6-7.
For  if Daniel would grow lazy to pray it is clear that the answers to his prayers would not reach him.
Now ask again why Daniel had to pray for that much time?
The answer is that God was using the power relinquished by Daniel in the great defeat of the Persians, therefore the amount of power satisfactory to bring victory was measured day by day, and by day 21 the power of a complete victory had been attained. This means that if power would be satisfactory in 10 days, then the angel would come and the prayers of Daniel would end there.

Sometimes a person can pray for a long time but the power released would still be not enough to give a complete victory. In these conditions the man will need other people to help in praying.

Read Exodus 17:11-13, you will see that Israel was fighting with the Amalek and Moses had carried the burden of prayer for Israel to win (the lifting of the rod when the war was fought was a sign of Moses being in prayers). The Bible says that when Moses held up his hands Israel prevailed, and he let down his arms Israel failed.

Means that the condition of Moses lift arms represented his prayers he had been doing and so he was releasing the power that God was using it to give Israel the victory.
When Moses had let down his hands, was a sign to stop praying and thus reduces the power that GOD needed to give victory. Decline in that power made God fail to fight for Israel and was defeated.
When God saw that Moses was tired of continuing to pray, he decided to raise other people to help him pray. The issue of Hur and Aaron supporting hands of Moses, biblically means the step of Hur and Aaron to help him pray. And then after this point we see the Israel win.

So we can say that if Daniel would have people to help him pray then it is clear that he would have not prayed for all those days.

Given that Jesus knew the importance of others helping  in compromising strength that would enable him accomplish the given task, that is why he took with him Peter, and the two sons of Zebedee, he moved a mountain to pray, then he said "My spirit has sorrow in the death, stay here, and watch with me. "Matt 26:38.  The sorrows he had, Jesus, is because he saw the hard work advocating great power in front and he found that he must ask the pupils to help carry the burden in prayers. Now we see that because students were not able to pray, Jesus had to pray the thing three times, so it is entirely possible that if students would pray then Jesus would not have to pray three times. Matt 26:44.

=> WHAT’S THE IMPORTANCE OF HAVING LONG-TERM PRAYERS
There are many benefits to the existence of long-term prayers to a person who wants to see God in his life.

1)     This application provides enough power that makes him God send his angels to come and deal with your request.
                       Ephesians 3:20
                      James 5:16 b, Acts 12:5-11
                       Daniel 10:1-2, 11-14.
Due to the order of God to act  beyond the power released by his people, then it is important that people ask for a long time to build a power which when God uses it comes victory.

= Other ways of releasing spiritual power different from prayers.
·        Read the very WORD OF GOD.
The word of God is a spiritual support and guidance that it gives you methods to live a holy life. When you live in holiness you build a conducive environment for God to listen to your requests and serve you.
              1 Peter 3:12, Psalm 16:3
              2 Chronicles 7:14-16.
    > Word of God gives you strength to overcome temptation, and try to win the word you will have already let the power that God will use to charge you with another blessings. Matthew 4:1-10.

·        Providing OFFERINGS
This is one very important way in releasing spiritual energy. When presenting offerings you touched the altar of God and make him come down to serve you.
             Malachi 3:10, Acts 10:30-31.
Here God has invited us to sacrifice and to try him and see if he will not bend the doors of blessings to shower us, this is what he did Cornelio and he remembers.

·        Praise for high standards and in spirit.
Our God is a God who loves praise, so when you give praise you refine his heart and make him come down, ensuring that serve your need.
               Acts 16:25-26

·          Witness the wonderful works of God.
Here you lift up God and shame Satan so God is exalted and more help to continue to witness and honor,
                Revelation 12:11 a

2)    This prayers gives you enough strength to fight the gates of hell.
                        1 Peter 5:8-9a
There are times you may wonder why you pursued by unclean spirits or powers despite the fact that you pray for it, for a long time. what you are supposed to know is that the power is still not enough to help God destroy the gates of hell that torment you, so you must pray more to see victory.
One staff was experienced, how he was possessed with the spirit of sexual immorality for so long, he said I prayed too but that spirit did let go of me. After that I fasted for a period of one month but I got no victory, then I went to share the application with my fellows and they fasted five days, then GOD gave a vision that Our family is pursued by adultery so he had given me a burden I pray to the spirit until it left the clan, he said.
What we learn here is that sometimes you do not get answers to your prayers because you bear the burden that requires great strength to have your break through, so if you see such situations seek help of others to help you release the power that brings victory.

3)       These prayers are reminding God about the need you asked.
                    Isaiah 62:6-7, 1 Samuel: 10-12, 20
                    Luke 1:5-20.
There are times when you pray, you’re answered, but God is waiting to see your efforts in tracking application you pray. So if you do not pray as often as you find answers the answers will be delayed for your not reminding.

4)       This prayers gives you strength to overcome temptation.
There are times when people are wondering why the servants of God are falling and stop serving God? The point is that when you were saved you declared war with the devil so every time he is hunting to throw you down, and so he sent his troops to attack you. Now if you not have enough power that’s why you find someone is overwhelmed by the power of the devil and finally falls.
This is the reason for JESUS insisted his disciples to pray lest they enter into temptation, Matthew 26:41.

5)      This prayers build the environment to stay in the glory of God to enable you to stay away from sin.
When you’re in prayer for a long time, your heart grows covered with the holy spirit and so much of your time will have you contemplated God and this will make you far and not consider the desires of this world.

6)     These prayers changes the old man and bring dignity which is the glory of God.
Man before he is saved his soul becomes bound in various dirty things, when he is saved he is cleansened and given new man but there are other spirits which have found great covenants and so only a matter of salvation does not those spirits out of that person.
This person will need to pray for long or have others to help release enough energy to be adopted for his breakthrough.
At school there was one lady, we assigned the service, and she was pursued with diseases regularly which could not be identified even at hospital. When we were praying for her,  she was released but after a few days she would be echoing the same situation. We did not give up and God finally said that there are a thousand things that were fighting her and after the prayers for seven months as God said it had remained one thing and if we won it  she will be completely free.
Now you can see how dangerous a brief prayer.
There are other survivors when they were adulterers or drunkards, they saved you find the spirits still following them, and let the others see that they can start saving.  The issue is that these people should continue to apply more force to GOD that he might use to release them out.

7)    This prayers gives you the peace of Christ which help you in making informed decisions about your affairs.
There are times when people made decisions that later come to regret, and sometimes you might find they prayed to God. Now ask ourselves why make a decision that they regret later.?
The answer is that you find the application he has made this man strong enough to yield no GOD participate in making your decisions. This is what caused Jesus to pray all night when he made the chosen apostles and prophets wanted to ask for the consecration of Barnabas and Saul.
                     Luke 6:12-13, Acts 12:3-4.

8)     This prayers gives you an enormous opportunity to be heard before God.
There are other things that God has no intention of doing but when you constantly ask them, God come to work.
                     James 5:17-18.

NB: "There is no full test of time that a person should spend in prayer daily. Time someone ask for will depend on inspiration of the Holy Spirit within the applicant, but also a good was the order that the end of your application is when you see the answers to your prayers"

"Objects that can enable you to PRAY FOR LONG TERM"
There are some people like to pray for a long time but cannot, and that others are wondering how can someone pray for more than one hour? The following items will help you in building environment to praying for a long time.

·        Make repentance and conversion
When you’re born again you make room for Jesus to come and live inside you. Jesus and the Holy Spirit comes, who will be working to teach you and guide you how to live a victorious life. This Holy Spirit does not live only for everyone but for those who have Jesus in them, and to be with Jesus, you must confess Jesus as Lord and Savior that you become born again.
Also you can be saved but committed sin, now you cannot make good prayers being in this situation, you need to do penance which will restore your relationship with the Holy Spirit.
                     Acts 2:38
Here we see that if you are saved or repent you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, this is the strength of spirit that will help you in praying for we do not know a way we should pray.
                     Romans 8:26-27.
We see that the Holy Spirit intercedes for the saints, and now probably you could not pray for a long time because you are not in holiness.

·        Have sufficient word of God in you.
As you read the Bible and have enough scriptures in you, you can know what God has spoken about your need
Bible says that God is watching over His word that He might establish
                Jeremiah 1:12, Isaiah 55:11 -
So this allows you to have arguments and tell God. In building your arguments you must use the long term prayers.
Many people are not praying for a long time because the building move forward in God but let me tell you that our God is the God of arguments
                 Isaiah 41:21
